Kurt W. Werth, Managing Director

Prior to co-founding DWC, Mr. Werth was president and CEO of WTS Agencies, a private shipping services company offering back office services, training, staffing, and software to the shipping community. Mr. Werth led the management buyout of the Liner Division of Inchcape Shipping Services to create WTS Agencies. While at Inchcape, an international shipping services company headquartered in London, Mr. Werth was President of the Americas and was a member of the Inchcape Board of Directors. Mr. Werth and his team were responsible for turning around the unprofitable service business. In 2000, Mr. Werth was Executive Vice President of Foamex International, Inc. where he managed the $250 million flooring products division. Prior to joining Foamex, Mr. Werth spent twelve years at Safety-Kleen Corp. where for eight years he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, completing approximately twenty-five transactions. He negotiated, documented, performed due diligence, closed, and integrated most of these companies into Safety-Kleen. While at Safety-Kleen, Mr. Werth was also the country manager for Canada where he managed a $120 million business with seventeen branch locations across Canada. Mr. Werth, a CPA, began his career spending eight years at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago after graduating from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.

Eric Donaldson, Managing Director

Prior to co-founding DWC, Mr. Donaldson served as President or Vice President for 6 operating companies owned by Landmark Communications in Norfolk, VA. While at Landmark, he analyzed and evaluated over 150 investment and acquisition opportunities. His duties included determining valuations; conducting financial analyses; developing business models; negotiating transaction structures, term sheets, letters of intent, and definitive agreements; conducting due diligence investigations; closing on transactions; and integrating acquired businesses. Prior to Landmark, Mr. Donaldson owned a consulting company, was President of a junior college with 5 campuses, and served as a Campus Director for a 2-year business college in upstate New York. Mr. Donaldson started his career at the Eastman Kodak Company where he served in Brand Management, Business Development, Project Management, and Engineering. He completed his first business acquisition while at Kodak with the stock purchase of Diconix, Inc. Mr. Donaldson graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Engineering. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester with an academic concentration in finance and marketing.
